They are afraid of this devil but they should look at him and those around him as oppertunists. Mr. Hein is like a vulture he only survives off others missery. The jail project which he was the lead person at that time watching that project people never looked at that now his new endeaver congress or state office. He can now be beat and for any future office he seeks. He is nothing but a five card monte fraud to Ulster County.
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't you tell us what department M. Stock is hidden in? Last news he needed a few months worth of county pension time. Like he really needs the money. Honestly, when positions were being cut out of departments during the budget crisis to make Hein look great for re-election time, Stock is put on the payroll somewhere? How f**ked up is that?
ReplyDeleteHayes Clement is getting his ducks in a row after he is elected Mayor to run for Ulster County Executive, when Hein runs for Congress. Who the heck does this guy think he is?????
ReplyDeleteHayes Clement is a clown, and Shane Gallo is a bit of one too! Shane trys to act as if he is completely innocent when it comes to all the foolish things Sottile and co. have done, but that is impossible. Believe me, if he wasnt along for the ride with Sottile's f#*ked up administration, Gallo would of been gone a long time ago. Instead, he has the distinction of being the longest serving assistant corporation council on the payroll...that doesnt sound like a guy that isnt down with the team does it? Also, dont get me started about Hayes Clement, the elitist asshole that can not possibly understand how the other half lives. Mojo, you mentioned once on your blog that the republicans did the right thing when endorsing Andi Turco Levin for Mayor; I agree with you. She is a moderate republican that appeals to some democrats too and she is smart, attractive and is not afraid to speak up and introduce some ideas.
ReplyDelete9:33, you hit the nail on the had with Shayne Gallo. You are right when you say he would have been gone a long time ago if he wasn't "with" Sottile. He definetly has played a roll on the the team over last decade. That speaks volumes about where his head has been. Furthermore, he doesn't have a good track record with the unions he has worked for either; PBA and CSEA unions respectively have fired him from their payrolls in the past. You are also right about Hayes Clement being an elitist. He should stick to sipping his martinis or daquaris and leave leadership in local govt to people who actually care. Turco-Levin could possibly make history as first female to hold Mayor's seat in Kingston. The voters in Kingston need to make a statement this election day; voting her in would surely do that!
ReplyDeleteI like Andi Turco-Levin, I will seriously consider voting for her. I happen to like Rich Cahill also, but i dont thik he can carry the votes. Shane is not a bad guy, he just needs to start owning up to the fact that he fucked up and supported the biggest asshole Kingston has ever had for mayor, Jim Sottile. No one believes that he hasnt played a role in the administration's dysfunction, he would be better off by simply saying "Hey, alot of mistakes were made, lets try to correct". So far we are not hearing that from him.
ReplyDeleteShayne Gallo will be the next mayor of Kingston.
ReplyDelete8;45, says who? Gallo is up to his ass and elbows with a primary and he is carrying extra baggage with the association he has had with the current administration. It is not in the bag by a long shot. If he wins he will have sweated his ass off getting it.
ReplyDeleteWhat is up with Hayes Clement? He would be a disaster as a Mayor. I also am not sure about Shane Gallo either. I never heard of these guys until this election year, where have they been? Hayes is a rich dude from out of state and Gallo is a lackey for the Sottile administration, why would we want either of these guys? I am considering voting for Andi Turco Levin, she has lived and worked in Kingston for years and has ties to many people through selling homes and properties in our area. Rich Cahill can no longer be taken seriously, and Ron Polacco is a dunce.
ReplyDeleteAndi Turco-Levin is nice, and that's where it ends. Other than that, she has no qualifications. She's as experienced in city government a Hayes Clement, but Hayes is educated and has a business background. Andi sells houses. I hope the voters in Kingston realize that it doesn't matter what party line you're running on, background is more important. Republicans should first vote Cahill in the primary so that Andi never sees the General Election in November.
ReplyDelete7:31, nice go's a long way in my book. Furthermore, Andi has sold properties for years in ulster county and knows how to market Kingston to prospective buyers for homes and or commercial property investments which is what we need. Hayes is a freaking consultant for a Tennis magazine for petes sake. We dont need anymore consultants involved with city govt, Goodness knows we are already saturated with them. My family and I will vote for Turco-Levin in primary.
ReplyDeleteLets talk about Shane Gallo for a minute...he is assistant corporation counsel to City of Kingston. Right now we are close to 300k OVERBUDGET on the refurbishing the Pike Plan uptown. Corporation counsel swore that after looking over plan for budget we would not go over yet we are at 280k and counting. Shane will tell you that he works the traffic court end but that is bullshit. We should not be outsourcing our labor disputes to some private co.( Wallens and Roemer), we should be handling every legal situation through corporation counsel Div.and if they cant cut the mustard, get rid of them, Gallo included! There are plenty of attornies that want work, lets get a bigger bang for our buck. If he cant do a good job as an attorney than I dont want him as Mayor.
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe anyone would consider any of these people remotely qualified to run anything. From what it appears, none of them have done anything that would indicate that they can supervise anyone. Hayes wrote for a tennis magazine and he says "consulted", Gallo is a small town general attorney, and Turco Levin is a real estate broker in a city where everything is for sale and nothing is sold. Being and alderman for a brief time or prosecuting parking tickets does not really lend itself to actually supervising people and making decisions that affect people's lives on a daily basis. I for one am a bit concerned at how inexperienced all these people are. Say what you want about Sottile, and it all may be true, but the guy knew his way around City Hall and government long before he was Mayor. The current scenario is scary.
ReplyDeleteSottile is the last person in Cityhall to "know his way around", he is an idiot in a politicians clothing. He should have stuck to bartending and flipping burgers at picnics, we the taxpayers would have been better off!
ReplyDeleteWhere was Jim "we hardly no ye" Noble last night during the meeting addressing youth crime at Boys and Girls club in Kingston? Mr. "Crime is down" himself, Noble has a responsibility to ALL residents of the city, not just showing up to council meetings once a month and hiding when it is time for action. The Sottile-Noble administration has been a pathetic representation to thier people, and the exiting of both these men from local politics cant come soon enough.
ReplyDeleteWant an example how Freeman prints whatever hein says? Look at the shared services story. Then read Times Herald Records version which severely downgrades the success of the program to 2.3 percent of county roads are involved. Two supervisors say Heins offer is 2500 a mile below their cost.
ReplyDeleteAnother Hein snow job followed by dog and pony show.
I am getting a laugh at these "candidates " for Mayor in Kingston. Hayes Clemente is a no name alderman, Shayne Gallo is uptight and intense and will do something soon to f#*k up, Andi Turco Levin is too quite to be a leader, Cahill needs to turn in another picture to freeman since he looks like a little boy when a photo acompanies an article, and Jean Jacobs is a sweet lady that just cant win. Boy, are we in trouble!
ReplyDeleteShayne Gallo wants to be our Mayor?? Why? So we can have more problems up at Cityhall? This hombre isnt voting for him. According to the Freeman yesterday, he states that he has introduced "legislation" that has helped the city? What legislation? When? Be specific, I dont remember even KNOWING he was working for the City let alone "introduce legislation". I could see his nose growing on the freeman web as he was talking about all the good things he has done for us Kingstonians. By the time he was finished his nose was a little longer than Pinoccios.
