  1. Focus media....you mean the out of county agency chosen to handle Ulster County tourism account? What happened to giving county business to businesses in the county?

  2. Interesting to see that Bill Wallens has given Hein 1000.00 dollars. Wallens is the private attorney for the city of kingston and the county. No wonder why the he is kept on the payroll...Campaign finance reform, where are you??

  3. 3:01 you forgot to point out that Cook, Netter & Clooney's SENIOR PARTNER has been anointed to earn a County retirement through Bea Haveranek's office.

  4. Interesting to note that Birchez is a Hein contributor, since owner, Steve Aaron, is reportedly interested in buying Golden Hill Health Care Center. It's no wonder the mighty Heiny is putting pressure on legislators to privatize the facility. He sees a golden opportunity to hook up his friend Aaron, and let the legislature take the blame.

  6. THE POLITICIANS ARE THE PROBLEM, AND THE REASON THERE AREN'T ANY JOBS.WE HAVE TO VOTE OUT ALL OF THEM THAT HAVE BEEN THERE MORE THE THREE TERMS.AND WE HAVE TO DEMAND THEY LIMIT HOW MUCH THE POLITICIANS CAN RAISE FOR THEIR CAMPAIGN.

  8. 8:24, i agree with you! Mayoral candidate Andi Turco-Levin has spoken out for term limits, a refreshing proposal coming from a politician. Term limits need to come into play here in Kingston and ulster county. Once that happens we can get a break from the career politicians in our midst.

  9. she failed on that term limit stuff, she circulated petitions couldn't get sufficient signatures and gave up. Some leader, a quitter.

  10. That's all she has offered. No tax plan. No spending plan. No crime plan. No economic development plan.

Wait--I stand corrected. She has offered plans to ban cigarettes in parks and to ban rifles, shotguns, bb guns, pellet guns, paint guns, etc.

She's a joke. Even Jean Jacobs is more focused on the real issues.

  11. She didnt give-up 12:27, she is in a primary aginst that little Dick Cahill and the Dunce Ron Pollaco. She wants to concentrate all her effort on winning. The term limit proposal can be put on next years ballot. No hurry. Term limits are needed for sure in these here parts,we have enough career politicians in office. Every where I go women are looking forward to pulling the lever for Mrs. Turco levin!

  12. I have noticed some Nick Woerner signs popping up. Seems to be next to all the Gallo signs. If Gallo is supporting Nick I will vote Clement.

  13. Gallo and Woerner are in bed together. They all hang out together, Gallo, Woerner, Blaber and Madsen. More "good ol boys" action. Hopefully the voters in Kingston will see this and vote accordingly. Woerner took down the Town of Ulster Dems. Hopefully he will do the same to the Kingston Dems.

  14. 4:49 Calling Blaber a good ol boy is worth a chuckle.

  15. 449, aka Tom Hoffay give it up. One, Woerner and Shayne do not even speak. Two a candidate can not control who's signs are put up by private residents. Hayes Clement is being backed by the good ol boy network: Hoffay, Cardinale, Dibella ect. Not to mention that Kevin Quility who is a printer took a job as a consultant for UCDC and Hayes has promised to hire him as Kingston's head of economic development. Like Hayes he is completely unqualified for that job. Hoffay, Hayes and Cardinale must just sit around and look for things they can make up. The whisper campaign is getting desperate. I wish Tom Hoffay who is a tough guy as an anonymous commenter would grow a set and put his name behind some of these postings.

  16. Gallo is in bed with Woerner, Madsen, and Blaber. Clement is in bed with Hoffay (even worse). Go with Turco-Levin or Cahill.

Hoffay, Woerner, and Madsen are all career politicians who couldn't get a job in the real world. Think about it...They are the reason term limits need to take effect.

Turco-Levin or Cahill don't cater to the good ol' boys network.

  17. I agree with 6;36, either of these two candidates will get my vote in upcoming election. Both Andi Turco-Levin and Rich Cahill are in primary, whoever wins I will vote for in the general election. Hayes Clement is backed by all the party lackeys, Dibella, Hoffay,Cardinale, etc. We need change to turn things around in this city.

  18. Gallo is in bed with Woerner and he also is with Blaber two losers

  19. Hey 6:36 You left out Gallo. Sottile had to give him a job when the PBA threw him out. I do like Cahill or Turco-Levin. Hayes Clement would be my third choice. Gallo and Woerner can not be trusted as for Blaber and Madsen they are just a couple of baffoons.

  20. I have seen Gallo and Woerner out together. Usually its with Blaber. Woerner left the Town of Ulster broke. Worse supervisor ever. These 3 stooges are up to no good.

  21. 8:09 You are such a liar you have not, the two of them oare not even on speaking terms. I have seen Hayes out with Hoffay and Anne Marie DiBella who crashed her car into a house..enough said!

  22. The old jail should be used to hold retired or washed up political cronies,or good ole boys.Oh,wait maybe not. We would then have to deal with boarding out again!

  23. Isn't it a conflict of interest for the County Attorney to donate to Hein, the man that keeps her employed? Ethics Schmethics....
